Registration Details

What your Registration Includes:

Full Conference Registration: All Education and General Sessions and access to all recordings.
One Track Registration: All Sessions in the selected Track and General Sessions.  Access to recordings in the selected Track and General Sessions.

Cancelation and Refund Policy:

Cancelations will be accepted through July 24, 2020 and must be received in writing to registration@same.org. Registration fees will be refunded in full minus a handling and processing charge of $75.00 for individual registration. If you are a government employee or your registration fee is $0.00, you will not be charged a cancelation fee if you cancel. SAME regrets that refunds cannot be issued after July 24, 2020. You may transfer your registration to a colleague if circumstances prevent you from attending the conference.

Registration Transfer:

To transfer your registration, please email registration@same.org with ALL of the following information: current registrant's name, substitute's full name (prefix and suffix), position title, email address, work address, work phone number and cell phone number, and an emergency contact name and phone number. We also need their Attendee Category, Primary NAICS code, Primary job responsibility, and Seniority level (entry, mid, senior, executive).  If the substitute's membership category is different from the original registrant, the registration fee difference will be charged.  

Code of Conduct:

SAME is committed to providing a safe and welcoming experience for all participants, regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, religion, political affiliation, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, and any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances.  SAME does not tolerate discrimination, intolerance, harassment, aggression, or ill-will of any kind at any SAME event, either in person or via electronic methods. 

We expect all event participants, presenters, sponsors, employees, and staff to:
•    Remain positive, friendly, and welcoming to others at all times.
•    Recognize that this event is a place for diversity of thought, organization, and individuals; as such, respect and inclusivity for all is expected.
•    Wear your event badge at all times, with your name on it.
•    Be alert and report any discriminatory, harassing, aggressive, or exclusionary behavior or speech to event staff immediately.
 
Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct; inappropriate physical contact (e.g., unwelcome sexual advances, groping, sexual assault); physical, written, verbal, or other abuse as determined by SAME and its representatives, in their sole discretion; and failing to obey any rules or regulations of the venue and SAME.
 
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone engaged in unacceptable behavior is subject to expulsion from the event, in SAME's sole discretion, without refund.
 
Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being treated poorly, or have additional concerns, please contact any member of the SAME National Office onsite or by contacting registration@same.org.

We expect all participants to follow this Code of Conduct at all event venues, any external venue affiliated with the SAME event, and all related social events. The policy may be revised at any time by SAME without notice. In the event of an emergency, please contact local authorities immediately.
