It is important to us that you have the tools and knowledge to begin a strong relationship with SAME and make your first Virtual FMW a success. Please review these tips before, during and after opportunities to make your virtual experience a memorable one!

Before the Conference

Get a sense of who attends FMW and start planning your schedule.

Plan Your Schedule

It's also time to start thinking about which sessions you'd like to join live during VFMW. To gain access to the sessions, you MUST first select your sessions in the Attendee Service Center (ASC) or during registration. Then, at the time of the sessions, you'll visit your personalized "Webinar Entrance" page to gain access. To select your sessions:
  • Visit the ASC
  • Click on the "Session Selection" item in the left menu bar
  • Click on the "Edit Education Selection" button to add/change sessions

That's it! You can update your choices at any time. Just make sure you've made your final picks within 30 minutes of the start of each session, so your "Webinar Entrance" page is updated in time.


Exhibit Hall 

How do I chat with an Exhibitor as an Attendee?

    • You must be logged into your Attendee Service Center (ASC) account to chat with an exhibitor. Once you have logged into your ASC, please click on “Exhibits” which can be found in the top tool bar or on “Exhibitor List” which can be found on the left side tool bar. Both pages will take you to our Virtual Exhibit Hall. All the available exhibitors will have a green chat button located on the right side of their name. Click on the green button and a chat box will appear.

How do I access my chats as an exhibitor?

    • You must be logged into your Exhibitor Service Center (ESC) account to chat with an exhibitor. Once you have logged into your ESC, please click on chat room” which can be found on the left side tool bar. After clicking on the chat room button, the system will ask you to “launch chat”. Once you have launched the chat, your chat box will appear.

I am having issues sending or receive chats as an Attendee or as an Exhibitor?

    • Please make sure you are using google chrome. The chat feature will also not work if you are using a remote desktop/VPN application.

My company is exhibiting, and I am managing the chat, how do I gain access?

    • Please have your booth coordinator email exhibit@same.org and request that we add you to the exhibitor service center site. Please note each company is allowed 2 extra, so three total, log in’s for chat access.

During the Conference

  • Log in to the ASC to access your sessions via the "Attendee Webinar Entrance" menu item
  • Be an active participant by submitting questions in the Q&A toolbar and chatting with others using the chat function
  • Be respectful
  • Provide feedback
  • Wear comfy clothing and participate in our daily energizing activity
  • Plan to visit the Virtual Expo Hall to discover the latest Facility Management products and services

After the Conference

  • Log in to the ASC to access your sessions via the "Attendee Webinar Entrance" menu item
  • Be an active participant by submitting questions in the Q&A toolbar and chatting with others using the chat function
  • Be respectful
  • Provide feedback
  • Wear comfy clothing and participate in our daily energizing activity
  • Plan to visit the Virtual Expo Hall and discover the latest products and services
  • Fill out the VFMW evaluation that you will receive via e-mail. Your feedback matters and will make a difference for future first-timers.

  • View the attendee list in the app, or download it from the ASC, to collect contact information for any contacts you developed that you would like to continue after the event has ended.
