Attendee FAQ

FM Workshop 2021 will be held as a Virtual event.  You can view the Sessions to see the outstanding lineup for this event.  We are also offering a Virtual Expo Hall where you can search our Exhibitor List and view Company information easily! 

After your research is completed, you can Register for the VFMW by using the Attendee Registration Form.

If you are with a Virtual Exhibitor, please use the Booth Staff Registration Form.

If you are a Speaker, please register through the Speaker Service Center.  Instructions will be sent to you from Belle Febbraro with instructions and login information.

Please visit the Sessions page of the VFMW website.  Here you can read a short description, see who the Speakers are for that session, and see how many PDH credits are being awarded for the session. You can click on "Search/Filter" on the right side of the page, at the top to search by session title, Speaker, and by Track .  Another way to search is by clicking on the day and date, just under the search function.

In order to participate in any of the Sessions, you MUST be registered first.  Once registered, use your Login provided on your Registration Confirmation and Login to the Attendee Service Center (ASC).  Click on the Session Selection tab on the left side navigation.  Select sessions by clicking "Add Bookmark" in each session.  By doing this, those sessions will be saved in your "My Agenda" in the virtual platform.  To join a session, you can go to your "My Agenda" and click on the green Join Webinar button 15 minutes before the session begins.

When it is time for a session, you will Login to the Virtual Event Platform with the same Login as for the Attendee Service Center (provided on your registration confirmation).  You will go to the Education & Activity Portal and select the category of the session, the specific day of the session, or All Sessions.  Locate the specific session and click on the green "Join" button! 

You can also go to your "My Agenda" tab under your first name in the top right corner of the virtual platform Lobby.  If you bookmarked sessions in the Attendee Service Center, that is where they can be found.  You can join from there by clicking the green "Join" button as well!

Yes!  We will have Virtual Expo Hall where you can search from the Exhibitor List (once available) for participating Companies.  Each listing has a short Company description, a link to their website, and specific information such as their business type and NAICS codes.  Some also include documents and videos for viewing and/or downloading.

Yes, all sessions offered during VFMW will be recorded. Your registration includes access to recordings; recordings will be available until September 30, 2021. You receive PDH credit for attending the sessions live or after viewing the recording!

Recordings can be accessed via the virtual event platform's Education & Activity Portal. Recordings are indicated by a yellow "On Demand" button in the session listing.

Yes, all Education Sessions will earn PDH credits.  The number is listed in each Session Name, which can be found on the Sessions page of the VFMW website.  You can earn PDH credit by participating in a session live or by watching the recording. Our system tracks your participation and generates a PDH Record, which is accessible via the virtual event platform in the Networking Portal or from the Attendee Service Center.

No, you do not need to be a member of SAME to attend VFMW. However, SAME members do receive a discounted registration fee.

If you are interested in becoming an SAME member, you will be able to purchase a one-year Individual membership during the Registration process.  For membership assistance, please contact or 703-549-3800, Ext. 131. 

We accept credit card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard) and check payment.

If paying by check, please make payable to the Society of American Military Engineers. Please mail your check with a copy of your invoice. Please note: check payments will not be available for registrations after July 1, 2021 due to mailing and processing time constraints.

Yes. You can pay for your registration with multiple credit cards.

When you get to the "Registration Review" page on the registration form you will see a credit card icon. Click on the icon then assign each registration item to the payment method number using the radio buttons. Click continue to go to the "Payment" page. This is where you will enter your credit card information.

Register the first person. When you get to the Registration Review Page, you will see a person icon with a plus sign. Click on this icon so you can register the next person.

When you get to the Payment page of the registration form click on the drop-down menu by "Payment Method." You will be given the option to pay by credit card, check or send invoice.  Payment by check can be made until July 1st due to mailing and processing times  After that date, payment for a registration must be made by credit card.

Please make checks payable to the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and include a copy of your invoice.  *Please mail a check payment to SAME by July 1, 2021 to ensure it arrives and can be processed before the start of the conference.

Yes. If you would like to register now, but pay later please select "Send Invoice" as your payment method when you get to the Payment Page of the Registration form. When you are able to pay for your registration, please login to the Attendee Service Center. Your login information is located in your confirmation letter.

All payment is due within 10 business days of registration. You will not receive access to the Virtual Event until we receive payment.

No. If your company has a SAME Sustaining Membership this does not mean that all employees have a SAME membership. Each organization with a Sustaining Membership must select its employees to be a Sustaining Membership Representative.
